Today I got a letter from my friend Kim! She was in Iraq in the army as a Arabic translator. She is
going to get married to a man she met in Germany. Right now she’s living in Missouri.

I’m so happy for her! I hope that I can arrange a time to visit her. I think maybe her husband to
be may end up staying in the states. They got engaged in January: what a neat story!

Today I had 2 slim fast shakes, a bowl of cereal, 8 sugar free cookies, 2 pieces of toast with butter, a large coffee with flavoring. I still weigh about 260. I hope my next week I’ve at least lost some.
